In this workshop, each child will:
Design: Think about what kind of flower they would like to make (color, petal shape, materials)
Assemble: Attach their creative elements (petals, leaves) to our premade mechanical bases
Learn: Simple mechanical concepts while crafting
How it works:
This mechanical flower uses a clever spiral mechanism wth a threaded central "stem". When the stem is twisted, it convert rotational motion into linear movement. Twristing the stem causes the sprial componet to either push up or pull down, making the petals, which are concentric arranged, to open outward or close inward-mimicking natural blooming on command!
